Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel (born 3 January, 1985 - died 14 July, 2017) was a Tunisian living in France who carried out the Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel by ramming into pedestrians while he was driving a truck approximately 22:30, just after the end of the Bastille Day fireworks display in Nice, France, killing 86 people and injuring 434.

Immediately after the attack, he was shot dead by responding French police officers.

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the atrocity.
