The Turkey protests started when urban plan developments were going to take over the Gezi park. Later, a group of people made a peaceful protest and government ordered the police force to suppress the protests by force. After violent police intervention, protests spread all over the country and evolved into mass protests against government intervention to life style and democratic rights. After excessive use of force by police officers and by AKP supporters, many of the protesters injured, and 6 died. Government refused to apologize, and tried to control the dissidents by laws, and with jail. However, many are still protesting because their rights were violated. People, started their Community Counils in parks at major cities. These councils are not recognised by any law, but people gathered and try to actively participate in politics and decision making process.
